That's Sarah with an H

There's no easy way to start a blog.  You don't want to be your average Joe, with the cookie-cutter format, "Hi, my name is Sarah.  I'm thirteen."   You also don't want to be the person to totally botch the introduction and just skip right to the main entry, or the person who tells everything about themselves but their name.  It's hard to find the perfect way to say it.

My friends call me Sarah.  Everyone else calls me Sarah.  Feel free to call me either of the two.  I'm thirteen years old and have a younger brother named Alex.  He's eleven.  I also have a cat named Luna.    She's an odd one. (Statue of Liberty Cat!)

I am a very athletic person and take part in soccer and archery (because those two sports totally go together).  I play club soccer for Black Diamond Soccer Club in their U14 age division.

As I mentioned before, I also enjoy archery and participate in not only an after-school club, but frequently go to drop-in lessons at Salt Lake Archery. 

And no, this is not a stock photo I got off the internet.  If you doubt me, then think of this:  I would probably picked one with three bullseye's, right?  That's also my thumb in the top right corner.

I also enjoy photography.  I mostly take pictures of nature, especially flowers because I can get the best close-up photos of them.   My camera hasn't been working so great lately, though and it really bums me out.  So here's a photo I took in my backyard in the spring of this year.

I just love pictures.

So as you can see, I have a very...busy life, but I love it.  There's so much to do here every time of year and I like to try and experience all of it that I can.  So, in a very minimal way, there's who I am for you. Want-to-be Katniss Everdeen meets Alex Morgan-inspired.
